Abstract:

Concerning the finding of the Plate of Brass by William Caldeira (Mr. Bocqueraz' chauffeur) while on a hunting trip near Drake's Bay in 1933. Also, transcript of brief interview (Feb. 1, 1956) of Mr. Bocqueraz with George P. Hammond at the Bancroft Library. Portrait photograph and signed statement (assignment of title and rights) with map of the Drake's Bay area, included.
Carbon copy with slightly different photograph and unsigned statement.
